property. The complainant showed officers damage to the front door where it appeared a rock had been

February 2, 2024 – 9:45PM
Officers responded to the 400 block of North Bridge Street for the report of a subject who was cussing at
customers and appeared intoxicated. When officers made contact with the subject, it was determined
that they were intoxicated. Ryan Jackson, 47, of Bedford was placed under arrest for public intoxication
and taken before the magistrate. He was held until sober. (Incident #2400641)

Officers were patrolling East Main Street when they recognized a subject known from previous
encounters. They checked his wanted status with dispatch and confirmed that the subject had an active
warrant. Jonathan Brunk, 44, of Bedford was taken into custody and transported to the jail where he

Officers noticed a vehicle with suspicious driving behavior as it was observed driving through the parking
lot of a closed business. Officers stopped the vehicle and located suspected narcotics. The Patrol

Officers were in the area of Sunset Drive attempting a paper service. It appeared the individual needing
to be served was not at the residence. Upon leaving, officers saw the individual drive up to the
residence. Once the subject saw the officers, she began to run to the back of the residence. Officers
were able to stop her and take her into custody. Crystal Roach, 42, of Bedford was taken before the

Officers responded to the Spirit Mart on Moneta Road in reference to a male subject who was passed
out. Upon their arrival, officers observed a male subject lying outside with two empty beer cans next to
him. It was determined that they were intoxicated. Jonathan Brunk, 44, of Bedford was subsequently
taken into custody and transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where a charge was obtained against
him for public intoxication. (Incident #2400669)

Officers responded to the Bedford Walmart for a report of a larceny. Asset protection advised officers
that a female subject had allegedly failed to scan items at the self-checkout register. After further
investigation, Kayla Wood, 23, of Bedford was issued a summons for petit larceny. (Incident #2400678)

February 5, 2024 – 9:14AM
Officers took a complaint at the police department in reference to stolen credit card information. The
victim advised they went through a fast food drive through the week prior and noticed the clerk acting
suspicious while handling the victim’s card. A few days later, the victim noticed fraudulent charges were
made to their card. After further investigation, Zamyriah Brown, 19, of Bedford was arrested for credit
card larceny. (Incident #2400682)

Officers responded to the 600 block of Vine Street in reference to a scam. The caller advised they were
scammed into buying a Lowes gift card and gave the scammers the numbers on the back of the gift card.

Officers were patrolling the 900 block of Blue Ridge Avenue when they observed a vehicle with no front

Officers observed an equipment violation that resulted in a traffic stop. During the stop, it was
confirmed that the passenger had two outstanding capiases for failing to appear in court. Christopher
Arrington, 33, of Bedford was taken into custody and transported to the magistrate where he was held

Officers responded to Walmart for the report of an employee that had allegedly been stealing. The
employee was later determined to Trevor Goff, 28, of Bedford. Mr. Goff was taken into custody and
transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where a charge of petit larceny was obtained against him. He

Officers responded to Walmart for the report of a female who had allegedly stolen multiple items. Upon
arrival, officers spoke with Jennifer Handley, 42, of Concord and subsequently issued her a summons for

Officers were informed of a subject that had been in contact with multiple officers throughout the
evening and had been calling dispatch during those occasions. The subject would allegedly call the
dispatcher names and use profanity. Officers advised the subject that dispatch was only to be used for
legitimate needs and warned that if they continued they would be charged for abusing emergency
services. Later in the evening after an additional call to dispatch was made by the subject, Michael
Albritton, 29, of Bedford was taken into custody and transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where a
charge of false summons of law enforcement was obtained against him. (Incident #2400963)
